Both East Bengal and Punjab FC topped in their respective groups. East Bengal drew against arch-rivals Mohun Bagan to top the group while Punjab sealed a tough win Bengaluru FC to book a spot in the semis.

Punjab are desperate to make a comeback in the game and in the desperation Nikhil Prabhu gets a yellow card to his name. Bengal are dominating the 2nd half but Punjab in not far behind too.
Goaaallll! That's the third one of the day, and it could be a decisive one as Bengal takes their lead to 3-1. Skipper Saul Crespo fires a bullet shot into the nets and gives his team a 2 goal lead in the semi-finals.
That's the final whistle and with it East Bengal reaches the final of the AIFF Super Cup finals beating Punjab FC by 3-1 in a dominating manner.
