The winner of the tournament not only earns the right of earning superiority in the continent but also gains direct qualification for the Pan American Games, to be held in Lima in 2027.
Brazil, eight-time winners, will be outright favourites for the crown and will going for their fourth title at the 2025 Copa América Femenina. Brazil will be led by three-time winner Marta.
Colombia (Runners-up 2010, 2014 and 2022) will also go for their first-ever title with the likes Argentina and Uruguay too being in the mix.
The tournament has already kicked-off with Ecuador and Uruguay drawing 2-2 in the opening fixture. Tournament favourites Brazil, won 2-0 against Venezuela.
