South Africa have controlled the ball for the majority of this game and yet it is Colombia who have taken the lead. But South Africa definitely are showing signs of them being able to make a comeback.

We have the half-time whistle and players move back to the dressing room. Colombia go into the break with a goal's lead.

We have the equaliser soon after the break. South Africa level through a penalty kick. Mfundo Vilakazi is the man who calmly slots the ball in the net to make it 1-1.

12 minutes after the scores were level, Colombia have taken the lead once again. Neiser Villarreal is the man who pushes his team ahead. Just about 20 minutes left now, so South Africa will have to find a way to level things up once again.

A goal just before the final whistle and Colombia win the Round of 16 clash against South Africa 3-1. It was not as one-sided as the final score suggests but Colombia siezed their chance better than the South Africans.

Colombia's South American rivals Argentina too are through to the quarterfinals with a dominating 4-0 victory over Nigeria.
