It has been a quite attacking start from Bengaluru FC, who are trying to break the Chennaiyin backline with patient build-up play. Sanchez had an early shot that was an easy save for Nawaz, but the Blues have the early posession.

Bengaluru have kept up the pressure on Nawaz's goal. Varshneya cuts inside from the right and pulls the trigger from the edge of the box, but it fizzes just wide of the post.

A rare attacking move from Chennaiyin. Chima Chukwu wins posession in the Bengaluru half and plays it to Irfan on the right. The winger floats in a ball into the box, but it's an easy grab for Gurpreet.

Bengaluru break at the other end, and Varshneya takes another shot after cutting inside after beating Mandar. The shot goes behind after a deflection. The corner leads to nothing.

We are approaching the half-hour mark, and it has been a really cagey encounter so far. Williams makes a bursting run in the Chennaiyin box, going past two defenders before taking a shot. It takes a deflection and hits the roof of the net. The resulting corner is floated in by Varshneya, but it is punched clear by Nawaz.

Chima Chukwu scores against the run of play to put Chennaiyin FC ahead!! The Nigerian wins the ball to start the move, and the ball is played to Farukh on the left. He tees up Mandar, who puts in a terrific cross to find Chima Chukwu in the box, who scores an easy tap-in.

Williams draws Bengaluru level!! It was a swift piece of football from the Blues. Fanai finds the Benglauru forward with a brilliant through ball, and Williams makes no mistake with his finish, finding the far bottom corner.

After three minutes of stoppage time, the referee takes a look at his watch and blows the whistle for half-time. After a fairly boring half-an-hour, the match opened up after Chima Chuwku's opener, resulting in Williams' equaliser nine minutes later.

The players return to the pitch for the second half. The referee blows his whistle, and Chima Chukwu gets the ball rolling.

Chennaiyin have began the second half well. A ball into the box is not cleared properly by the Bengaluru defence. It falls to Farukh, who takes a venomous goalbound shot. However, it hits the legs of Chima Chukwu and goes behind.

Bengaluru are pushing hard for the next goal. The ball is played to Williams on the right, but he cross is headed clear by the defence. For now, the tempo of the match has dropped a bit.

A brilliant chance for Bengaluru FC to take the lead. Williams wins the ball on the edge of the box off Mandar and squares it back, and Sanchez hits it in from close range. It is deflected behind for a corner.

It's time for the second drinks break. It's still level, with Bengaluru having the better chances in the second half. Less than 15 minutes of regulation time for either side to find the winner.

Headed chance for Chhetri!! Another chance from the flanks, created by Sanchez. It is played towards the far corner, aiming for Chhetri. However, before the veteran can make contact, his teammate gets a header that flies over the bar.

Serto Kom finds the back of the net to put Bengaluru ahead!! A one-two between Sanchez and Williams leads to the latter cutting it back across the face of goal. Fanai's shot is blocked, but the rebound falls to Serto Kom, who hits it past Nawaz.

After six minutes of stoppage time, the referee blows the full-time whistle to bring the match to an end. Serto Kom's last-ditch goal means that Bengaluru have clinched all three points.
