Both sets of players are out on the Stamford Bridge pitch. Referee Chris Kavanagh blows his whistle, and it's Man City's Rayan Cherki who takes the kick off! Stay tuned for live updates.
An early chance for Chelsea. A good pass from Joao Pedro allows the Blues forwards to break. The ball is played to Pedro Neto, who cuts it back to Palmer. The number 10 runs with it past Rodri before shooting with his left but only finds the side netting. He had to do better!
An early yellow card being shown to Estevao for needlessly kicking the ball away after the whistle had been blown for offside. It has been a really lively start to the game, for sure.
Cucurella finds the back of the net, but it won't count. Joao Pedro does brilliantly to run with the ball before playing it through for the Spanish full-back, who shoots from a tight angle and beats Donnarumma. However, the off-side flag goes up. It looked really, really tight on replays.
A very good save from Donnarumma to deny Pedro Neto! A long ball from Estevao finds the Portuguese winger, who goes past a sliding challenge before holding off the pressure from Guehi. He takes a shot from close range, but Donnarumma closes the gaps and makes a stop.
Half-an-hour of football has been played at Stamford Bridge, and we are yet to see the opening goal. Man City have dominated possession with almost 66% of the ball, but it's Chelsea who have produced the best chances, with Donnarumma pulling off a good save against Neto.
The Chelsea wingers have been a nuisance for Man City's wide players, and Semenyo gets a booking for a lousy tackle on Palmer. Chelsea, meanwhile, continue to play direct balls down the flanks to catch the City defence unawares.
Semenyo makes a darting run inside from the right, skipping past three Chelsea defenders before pulling the trigger from the edge of the box. However, a slight deflection of Santos' foot puts it behind for a corner. Meanwhile, just one minute added on by the fourth official.
A ball into the box reaches the head of Santos, but he puts it over the bar. That is the final action of the first half as Chris Kavanagh blows the half-time whistle. It remains goalless at the break.
We are underway at Stamford Bridge for the second-half. Both sides remain unchanged from the break.
One of Pep Guardiola's moves from training show up on the field yet again and Man City lead. Semenyo and Cherki link up on the right, with the latter floating a left-footed cross into the middle. Haaland's the target, but O'Reilly gets there first, popping up in the centre from left-back to head beyond Sanchez and make it 1–0. O'Reilly has been doing this frequently now and his appearance in the box have provided City ab outlet for goals.
Two goals within six minutes and Man City power themselves forward in the game to some distance. Chelsea concede yet again and this time from a corner. Cherki plays a one-two with Doku and then sets off on a left-to-right run. He beats Hato and Estevao while skirting his way across the edge of the box and slips a pass through to Guehi, who turns beautifully and fires a clinical effort into the far corner.
O'Reilly has pulled up with an injury on halfway. Guardiola takes no risks with O'Reilly's hamstring and brings off the injured goalscorer, with summer signing Rayan Ait-Nouri on to take his place at left-back.
Manchester City have effectively sealed the game with the third goal. They have scored three goals in a span of 17 minutes and the Chelsea defeance is crumbling here. Semenyo is released in behind by another ball over the top from Khusanov, only to see his right-footed strike saved by Sanchez. The Chelsea keeper quickly rolls the ball out to Caicedo, but he's swamped on the edge of the box and loses out to Doku. City's number 11 drives towards goal and quickly thumps a clinical strike into the bottom corner.
Khusanov arrives on the attacking scene and is set up by his centre-back partner Guehi, with the Uzbek international taking aim and sending a 30-yard strike sailing just to the left of Sanchez's uprights.
Jeremy Doku and Ryan Cherki is off with that piece of action with Savino and Phil Foden replacing them. Bernardo Silva makes way for Mateo Kovacic.
Chelsea bring in Liam Delap and Dario Essugo.
Ait-Nouri's foul on Gusto yields a free-kick which Palmer steps up to take, and the Chelsea talisman's low, left-footed curler creeps around the wall before being held in the far corner by Donnarumma.
Savinho darts down the right-hand side before passing centrally to Foden, who can't keep possession amid a sandwich of tackles from Essugo and Hato. The loose ball falls for Haaland, who quickly turns and gets a left-footed shot away, with Fofana making the block to keep him out.
That's it. A spell of 17 minutes and Manchester City strongly come back in the title race. Arsenal would have not wanted this result but they will now have to win their game, seeing their lead at the top come down to just six points.
City used some pieces of play from training with Ryan Cherki showing his brilliance and they bought three goals. Meanwhile, Chelsea's struggles in the league continue under Liam Rosenior.
