Both Chelsea and Liverpool suffered defeats in their last match. Liverpool were handed a shock loss by Crystal Palace to get the taste of their first defeat of the league. Chelsea too come in the game on the back of a defeat at the hands of Manchester United.

Liverpool are winless in their last four Premier League games at Stamford Bridge (D3 L1), while Chelsea have lost four of their last five home Premier League matches against the reigning champions (D1 L4).

The Blues could lose three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since a streak of four defeats under Frank Lampard in April and May 2023, and they have also lost three games in the competition when scoring first in 2025.

70 minutes played, and Liverpool have equalised through Cody Gakpo, who poked home in the 63rd minute after Isak showed excellent first touch to play him on. Since then, the Reds have pushed hard for another goal, with Chelsea looking under pressure.

84' Chelsea will get a corner kick. A brilliant effort from Estêvão who finds himself in space on the edge of the box and smashes a glorious looking effort towards the left side of the goal, but Giorgi Mamardashvili thwarts him with a great two-handed save. It is still 1-1.

Chelsea take lead with just one minute left on the clock. What a time to score and the Blues will think they have pocketed all three points in this game. Estêvão has an easy time to put the ball into an empty goal and Chelsea are all set for a W.
