Chelsea 1-0 Leeds, FA Cup: Enzo Fernandez Winner Sets Up Blues' Final Meeting With Manchester City

Chelsea rode Enzo Fernandez’s 23rd-minute header to eke out a 1-0 win over Leeds in the second semi-final of FA Cup 2025-26 at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday (April 26). The Blues thus set up a meeting with Manchester City in the May 16 summit clash. Chelsea’s run in the FA Cup is salvaging a campaign that has derailed after an embarrassing exit from the Champions League and five consecutive losses in the Premier League. It has been the team’s worst run of league results in 114 years and led to the midweek dismissal of manager Liam Rosenior. Calum McFarlane, Rosenior’s unheralded assistant, has taken control of Chelsea until the end of the season and will now be leading the team back out at Wembley, in search of a ninth FA Cup title and a first since 2018.
