Some interesting actions right from the start and a goal is disallowed from RB Leipzig. It's excellent work from Yan Diomande on the right flank, as he gets the better of Davies and three other Bayern players before threading a neat pass to Christoph Baumgartner, who lashes a strike into the bottom-left corner! Initially, the goal is given, but after a VAR check, Baumgartner is adjudged to be offside!

Bayern Munich start the game by creating multiple goal-scoring chances through Harry Kane. Kimmich delivers a left-wing corner into the Leipzig 18-yard box. Kane manages to get a head onto the cross at the far post, but it's blocked by team-mate Pavlovic. Minutes ago, Kane received a pass 10 yards from goal, cut inside the defender before firing an effort which is well saved by Vandevoordt's feet.

Both teams look to attack. Olise finds space on the byline before whipping a cross to the far post, where an unmarked Kane slices an attempt inches over the crossbar. Meanwhile, Nusa dribbles past a couple of Bayern defenders before threading a pass to Baumgartner, but Neuer is quick off his line to kick it away. Baumgartner would have been off-side anyway.

Bayern Munich have been the stronger side in the first half so far except for the early goal Leipzig scored which was ruled out due to offside. Bayern win a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area after Kane is brought down by Schlager. Kimmich's delivery fails to beat the first man.

An intense first-half comes to an end. Some breathtaking action even in the dying minutes as Kane launches a header towards the Leipzig goal from a corner, but it is saved by Vandevoordt. Seconds earlier, Pavlovic got an opportunity to power Bayern into the lead, but it was Vandevoordt again who denied. Bayern has threatened more and Leipzig has been fending away for the last few minutes.

The second-half kicks off and Bayern Munich start after the break strongly. Michael Olise drives forward on the right flank before threading a pass to Stanisic, who looks to pull it back from the byline, but Seiwald is there to snuff out the danger.

The second half has not seen as much action as the first half so far. Bayern create the one big chance as Gnabry strikes a powerful attempt towards the top-right corner. Once again, it is Vandevoordt who comes in the way, somehow palming it past the right-hand post. Meanwhile, Joseph Stanisic is given a yellow card.

Bayern Munich take the lead on expected terms. Stanisic enters the box after received a long ball, who is then brought down by the goalkeeper Vandevoordt! The Leipzig goalkeeper receives a booking. Harry Kane does no mistake from the spot. ngland captain sends the keeper the wrong way, and rolls his spot kick into the bottom-right corner.

Immediately after the first goal, Bayern score the second and it is in-form Michael Olise who scores. He plays a first-time pass from the right flank with Diaz overpowering Orban before gently finishing past the helpless Vandevoordt. Bayern are in safe distance now.

Bayern create another as Diaz plays a lovely reverse pass to Davies down the left, with the Canadian darting towards the byline before pulling back for Olise, whose acrobatic attempt from six yards sails wide of the right-hand post. Pavlovic finds himself in the referee's notebook after getting involved in a chaotic exchange between two sides.

They dominated from the start but failed to score in the first half, due to the failure of the Harry Kane. Joshua Kimmich and Michael Olise to convert chances.
