Bangladesh 2-0 Pakistan Highlights, SAFF U-17 Championship Semi-Final: Dominant BAN Storm Into Title Clash

What a start for Bangladesh! They have found the back of the net twice inside the first four minutes to leave Pakistan reeling.

Bangladesh very nearly had their third goal but the offside flag goes up and that denies them. Pakistan respond moments later, and almost pull one goal back, but a foul committed on the edge of the box means that goal doesn't stand either.

The first half has so far been a dismal one for Pakistan, with no real clarity in offence or defence. Bangladesh have got their number and look primed to advance to the final, unless Pakistan can turn things around dramatically.

The first half ends after two minutes of added time. The scoreline stays at 2-0 in favour of Bangladesh, courtesy the two early strikes in the second and fourth minutes, respectively. Pakistan need to pull up their socks or risk a tame exit in the semis.

Bangladesh are time and again threatening to add a third goal, with their captain Nazmul Faysal in the thick of the action. Pakistan are struggling and need a goal urgently to stay in this encounter.

Just 11 minutes remain in regulation time. Pakistan need at least two goals to stay in the hunt and that appears to be highly unlikely, given the way Bangladesh continue to call the shots.

And that's that for Pakistan. They fail to get a single goal in, and after three minutes of added time in the second half, the referee blows the final whistle. Bangladesh march into the SAFF U-17 Championship title clash, where they will meet the winner of the second semi-final between India and Nepal.
