We are 10 mintues into the contest at Basque Country, and PSG have dominated proceedings, with almost three-fourths of the ball as well as two shots, with Zaire-Emery's last effort flying wide of the post Athletic Bilbao are chasing shadows at their home ground.

PSG have continued to increase the shots counter, with Fabian Ruiz the latest one to try his luck. A good cross into the box finds the Spaniard, who volleys it towads the goal, but it flies way over the crossbar. There have been a number of shots – 13 of them, in fact – but none of them have come close to threatening the opposition's goal. The managers need to up their players' game for a better second half.

The referee blwos the whistle, and the second half is underway at San Mames. Luis Enrique has made one change after a lacklustre performance from PSG, with Marquinhos – who suffered an early knock – being replaced by Zabarnyi. Can this spark a better performance from the defending champions?

Simon has made two great saves in the 10 minutes since the restart. The first one was to deny Mayulu's shot from a great pass by Kvaratskhelia. The second one was even better, with the Spaniard getting down quickly and keeping out an effort from Zaire-Emery that was destined for the bottom corner.

PSG have continued to control the tempo of the match, but they have really struggled to create anything up front in terms of clear cut chances. Enrique shores up his attack by bringing on Desire Doue, who returns from a thigh injury to replace Mayulu. Athletic Club, meanwhile, replace Guruzeta with Unai Gomez.

Best chance of the game so far as Barcola's shot clatters against the crossbar and ricochets away. Brilliant work by the youngster to make his way into the box and pulling the trigger with his right. Unai Simon was completely beat, but the bar comes to Athletic Bilbao's rescue.

With the game entering the final quarter, Valverde makes a triple change, looking to inspire his side to an unlikely victory. Asier Hierro, Jesus Areso, and Alejandro Rego all take the pitch, and making the way are Sancet, Gorosabel, and Jauregizar.

Changes for both sides, as PSG bring on Goncalo Ramos in place of Barcola. Galarreta is replaced by the home side, who bring on Vesga. Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao have a rare sight of PSG's goal as Berrenguer has an attempt from the edge of the box, but it flies comfortable wide of the top corner.

The referee blows his whistle to bring the match to an end, and the spoils will be shared after a goalless draw. It was a cagey match all throughout, and PSG will likely be happy to return to Paris with a point. For the home side, it's a crucial result that will keep their playoff hopes alive.
