The pre-match formalities are done, and referee Davide Massa blows the whistle to get this Serie A match underway. Both sides have a chance to finish this week top of the table with a win tonight, which means the stakes are as high as they get. Stay tuned!
After a dull start, there was a terrific moment as a long ball from Napoli's half found the half of Lang. The forward was perfectly onside and one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Sviler, however, was quick to get off his line and hoof the danger away without conceding a foul. Terrific all around.
A brilliant run on the left box from Neres, who opts to float a cross towards the far corner. Wesley looses his man, and Di Lorenzo has a powerful shot from a tight angle but manages to hit the side netting.
Napoli have continued to pile pressure on Roma's goal. Lang shows off excellent footwork to swerve past his marker while cutting inside into the box. The Dutch forward has a shot towards the far corner, probably getting a slight deflection off Mancini as well. Svilar is forced to make a diving save.
Napoli hit on the counter through Neres!! Manu Kone loses the ball with a wayward pass. Roma's high-line find themselves in a quicksand as Neres and Hojlund break with pace. The Norwegian frees his partner, who beats Svilar with a composed finish to find the back of the net.
Just one minute of added time flows by, and the referee blows his whistle to signal for half-time, with Napoli having a slender lead at the break.
The players out of the tunnel, and I can see one change for Roma – Ferguson is brought off for Baldanzi. The referee blows his whistle, and Napoli get the second half underway at Stadio Olimpico.
The first yellow card of the match goes to Cristante for catching McTominay on the back of his foot to stop the Napoli midfielder's run. The Scot goes down in pain and gets some attention from the physios.
Roma are really struggling to create anything, and Gasperini makes a double change. Dybala comes on to replace Soule; Cristante, who has been extremmely poor tonight, is replaced by El Aynaoui.
Roma float in a ball into the box from a corner, but Napoli fail to clear it properly. Zeki Celik has a thunderous shot from 20 yards out, but it flies way over the bar. Meanwhile, Napoli bring on Politano to replace Lang.
This is the first time that Pellegrini has had a sight of goal, and the Roma player let's fly a rocket shot from some way away. It flies over the bar, although it isn't miles away. Much more positive from the home side, this.
Tonight's goalscorer Neres is brought off by Conte, and summer signing Lorenzo Lucca comes on in his place. Less than five minutes plus stoppage time for the Partenopei to hold on to, and they will move to second place in the table.
The best chance of the game for Roma, and it falls in the final minute of regulation time to Baldanzi. A terrific quick flick from Dybala created the opportunity, and Baldanzi's shot forces an excellent reaction save from Milinkovic-Savic.
Meanwhile, the fourth official indicates a minimum of six minutes to be added on.
Roma fail to create anything of note in added time, and at the end, it has been a rather comfortable away win for Napoli, who go level on points with league leaders AC Milan.
