The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is almost near as the excitement builds to one of the most anticipated football tournaments featuring some of the best stars in world football. The 35th edition of AFCON takes place in Morocco with 24 teams participating in the group stage.

The group stage kicks off from December 21 with the final slated to be held on January 18, 2026.

There will be some star attraction with the likes of Mo Salah, Riyad Mahrez, Sadio Mané (Senegal), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), Victor Osimhen (Nigeria), and many more participating.
