Zimbabwe Vs South Africa, T20 World Cup: Sikandar Raza Shines But Proteas Clinch Crucial Victory
South Africa defeated Zimbabwe by five wickets in their ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eights clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, continuing their unbeaten run in the tournament. Zimbabwe, after opting to bat first, posted 153/7 in 20 overs, powered by captain Sikandar Raza’s 73 off 43 balls, which helped them recover despite regular wickets. In reply, South Africa faced early setbacks as Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram fell cheaply, while Ryan Rickelton scored a brisk 31 before departing. However, the Proteas’ middle order steadied the chase, reaching 154/5 with overs to spare to seal victory and strengthen their semifinal momentum.
