The match has begun and the Royals are off to a cautious start in the 1st over of Kushal Malla scoring just 3 runs.
SPR got off to a solid start as the openers put on a 46-run stand for the 1st wicket but CHR bowlers made a good comeback by 2 back-to-back wickets bringing them back into the game.
The Royals are at a decent position after 12 overs as the dangerous Chris Lynn is batting at 47 and they have 7 wickets to explode in the last 8 overs and post a strong total against the Rhinos.
The Royals managed to put a decent score 169 runs on board courtesy to Chris Lynn's 75 not out. They could have got some runs on the board if Lynn hadn't got retire hurt.
It wasn't the start CHR were looking for while chasing a decent target of 170. Their star batter Dawid Malan is run out cheaply for 7 by Dipendra Airee.
Rhinos top-order suffered a dramatic collapse with 57-4 at one stage but Dev Khanal and Ravi Bopara's small partnership have stabilized things for CHR. Though, they have have a monstrous task of chasing 92 runs in 48 balls against a top SPR bowling line-up.
Royals pipped the Rhinos by 49 runs in the 24th match of the Nepal Premier League to register their 6th consecutive win of the season. Puneet Mehra played an instrumental role in SPR's win with 3 wickets.
