Piumi Badalge is run out! She was pushing for a second after nudging it into the deep, but the throw came in fast and flat from Amanjot Kaur, right on the bounce to Richa Ghosh, who collected cleanly and broke the stumps in a flash.

Badalge put in a desperate dive, but the replay showed she was just short of her ground. A sharp bit of fielding does the trick for India. Badalge has to walk back for 9 off 13, with one boundary to her name.

Harleen Deol bowls a flighted delivery on off, and Sugandika Kumari, staying low, rides the bounce beautifully. With a swift sweep, she sends the ball racing in front of square on the on-side, picking up a boundary.

Pratika Rawal tosses one up just outside off, inviting Anushka Sanjeewani forward. She skips down the track but only manages to push it gently to the off-side, no run. Next ball, Rawal floats it on off again, and this time Sanjeewani backs away, trying to guide it past short third, but can't beat the fielder. Still no run.

India Women sealed a dominant 97-run win in the final, stamping their authority on a tournament they controlled throughout. Smriti Mandhana led the charge with a superb 116 off 101, powering India to a massive 342. Sri Lanka, needing something special, never found momentum, their top score just 51.

Sneh Rana starred with the ball, taking four wickets, while Amanjot Kaur continued her impressive run with three. Sri Lanka had punched above their weight all tournament, but on the big day, India were simply a class apart.
