Yes, I got back-to-back hundred and fifty. Thanks to Pathum, I could manage my innings. The wicket was slow and turning, we had plenty of balls left, that's why I slowed down my game. Played my natural game earlier, KJP (Kusal Perera) played well and I wanted to stay till the end. He then thanks the crowd for supporting the team (in Sinhalese).

I don't think the toss was crucial, but we didn't get many runs. A couple of balls stayed low and it did so in the second half as well. It's not just today's game, last 7-8 matches, I think the batters who're in have to take responsibilty. 170 would have been a good score with our bowlers, they weren't good, Taskin is our lead bowler and anyone can have a bad day. Rishad has been improving a lot for us.

I think when we played in the LPL, chasing teams won because of fast outfield and a shorter boundary, that's why we decided to chase. Jeffrey Vandersay has been with us for a number of years, he didn't get chances with Wanindu in the team, but that's a good headache to have. Not a lot of improvements in this game, we were good in all compartments of the game, we probably can field better. The pitch does get slower as the ball gets old (on taking their time to finish).

Sri Lanka won the first T20I by seven wickets in Pallekele and now the caravan will move to Dambulla where the second T20I will be played on Sunday, 13 July.
