Ranji Trophy 2025-26 Round 2, Day 3: J&K Seal Big Win, Prithvi Shaw Smashes 200
The third day of Round 2 of the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 saw Jammu & Kashmir beat Rajasthan by an innings and 41 runs. Maharashtra’s Prithvi Shaw lit up the day with a blistering double century, remaining unbeaten on 222 off just 156 balls to set the tone for his side’s campaign. Vidarbha mounted a spirited fightback in their first innings, thanks to Aman Mokhade’s superb century, though they still trail Jharkhand by 93 runs. Elsewhere, Delhi extended their dominance with a massive 329-run first-innings lead over Himachal Pradesh, while Bengal bowled out Gujarat for 167 but stumbled early in their second innings.
