Oman have posted 172 runs on the board, which is a decent total after quite a shaky start to their innings. Opener Ashish Odedara was removed from the crease in the first over itself, but his partner and skipper Jatinder Singh led from the front and scored a blistering 66 off 40.

Elsewhere, Aryan Bisht, Vinayak Shukla and Jitenkumar Ramanandi played quickfire knocks and took Oman from 153/6 to 172 runs.

Qatar will be hoping their batters will put on a show and chase down 173 runs for their second victory in the ICC T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific qualifiers, Super Six.
