Welcome to the highlights of Day 5 of the 1st Test between New Zealand and West Indies at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Justin Greaves's unbeaten 202 along with contributions from Shai Hope (140) and Kemar Roach (58 not out) ensured West Indies played out a draw on the fifth and final day of the 2nd Test against New Zealand in Christchurch.

Chasing 531 for victory, West Indies lost Hope early on and then Tevin Imlach as they were 277/6 at one time. However, Roach and Greaves put on a valiant stand for the seventh wicket to make sure there were no more hiccups.

Roach, who snapped up five wickets in the Test, blocked and put the bad balls away as Windies frustrated the Kiwis, who had lost two pacers including Matt Henry due to injury.
