Nepal bowlers struck at regular intervals and bundled out Netherlands for a below-par total of 225. Sompal Kami was the pick of the bowler with three wickets. No one from the Dutch side could get to fifty but captain Scott Edwards and Noah Croes got forties.
Nepal top order also could not big scores but Aarif Sheikh in the middle order stood strong and scored 78 to set up Nepal's victory. Sheikh's fifty and some important contributions from others were enough for Nepal to win the game by five wickets.
Rohit Paudel’s Nepal side had earlier won against Scotland in their last match, getting above the foot of the table with three wins in 13 games.
