National anthems done, bell has rung and both the Indian openers are entering the field to start the proceedings. It looks like we are in for a run-fest on a good Cuttack wicket.

In the air and catch is taken, Shubman Gills charged Lungi Ngidi and played the ball on the rise but the ball stuck on the wicket a bit, didn't met the middle of the spot and Marco Jansen made no mistake in completing the catch.

That's not the start India would have been hoping for Shubman Gill (1) and Suryakumar Yadav (12) departs inside 3 overs. Tilak Varma comes to the crease to join Abhishek Sharma.

After a shaky start, Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma have stabilized the Indian innings. They would like to build on the partnership to take India to a competitive score.

Abhishek Sharma has gone back to the pavilion. It was a loose ball but the deep square leg fielder took a spectacular catch to get the big wicket of Abhishek Sharma (17). Axar Patel comes to the crease to join Tilak Varma.

Half of the innings done and India are 71/3. Not the kind of start, they would have liked but the Proteas have bowled tight lengths and fielded exceptionally well thus restricting India in the initial 10 overs.

Hardik Pandya changed the momentum of the game in favour of India with his blistering hitting. He is currently playing on 26 not out in just 11 balls.

India lost Shivam Dubey in the last over to Ferrieira but Hardik Pandya (47*) who's in sublime form is still at the crease and looking lethal.

Hardik Pandya bamboozled the South African bowling to take India to 175 run in 20 overs after a shaky start in the 1st T20I at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram are on the crease to open the innings for South Africa. Meanwhile, Arshdeep SIngh is set to open the proceedings for India.

What a brilliant start for India! The dangerous de Kock goes for a duck in the very second delivery from Arshdeep, taken at the slip by Abhishek. Stubbs gets a boundary at the end, but this is the beginning that the hosts were looking for.

Two wickets in two overs for Arshdeep! There's a huge LBW shout against Stubbs, but the umpire is not impressed. Suryakumar Yadav takes the review, and it turns out, there's an inside-edge off Stubbs' elbow that is caught at the slip by Abhishek.

Hardik Pandya's dream night continues as he takes a wicket on his first ball after scoring a blazing 59 with the bat. SA's chase in limbo as they lose 4 quick wickets in 6 overs.

Varun Chakravarthy castles Marco Jansen to take down 6th Proteas wicket. The chase is rapidly getting out of SA's hands with each falling wicket.
