India Vs South Africa, ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8: Proteas Thrash Defending Champions by 76 Runs
South Africa produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat India by 76 runs in their ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8 clash in Ahmedabad. After being reduced to 20/3 early, the Proteas recovered brilliantly through David Miller’s explosive 63 off 35 balls and crucial support from Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs to post a competitive 187/7. India’s bowlers, led by Jasprit Bumrah (3/15), kept things tight at the death, but the total proved more than enough. In reply, India’s chase never gained momentum as early wickets derailed the innings. Keshav Maharaj’s three-wicket over and disciplined spells from Marco Jansen and Corbin Bosch bundled India out for 111 in 18.5 overs.
