India: Shafali Verma, Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Jemimah Rodrigues, Amanjot Kaur, Richa Ghosh(w), Deepti Sharma, Radha Yadav, Arundhati Reddy, Sneh Rana, Shree Charani
England: Sophia Dunkley, Danielle Wyatt-Hodge, Nat Sciver-Brunt (c), Tammy Beaumont, Amy Jones (w), Alice Capsey, Em Arlott, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Linsey Smith, Lauren Bell
Picking up from where she left in the opener, Smriti Mandhana strokes the very first ball of the India innings for a boundary. She pinches another four off the fifth ball and the visitors clatter 11 off the first over.
IND-W: 11/0 (1 over)
Mandhana's opening partner Shafali Verma edges a rising delivery to be dismissed for 3 in the second over. Jemimah Rodrigues has joined Mandhana since and is making herself busy, driving one uppishly through the cover-point region for her first boundary.
IND-W: 23/1 (3.2 overs)
India have lost vice-captain and the in-form Smriti Mandhana, and then skipper Harmanpreet Kaur in quick succession. Mandhana lofts one straight to mid on in the fifth over, and Kaur follows suit three balls later. The returning India captain falls for just 1 and India lose three wickets in the powerplay for just 35 runs.
IND-W: 35/3 (6 overs)
Jemimah Rodrigues has joined forces with Amanjot Kaur to string together a partnership. The duo has tallied 41 runs off 33 balls to bring some calm back into the Indian innings after the Mandhana-Harmanpreet setbacks.
IND-W: 72/3 (10.4 overs)
After elevating the run rate and speeding to 63 off 41 balls, Jemimah Rodrigues falls. She is dismissed by a wily Lauren Bell, whose figures read 2/9 after three overs. Meanwhile, Richa Ghosh joins Amanjot Kaur in the middle.
IND-W: 126/4 (15 overs)
India amass 55 runs in the final five overs with Richa Ghosh playing a vital 20-ball unbeaten 32 and Amanjot Kaur also undefeated at 63 (off 40 balls). Amanjot and Jemimah Rodrigues' fifties have propelled India from 31 for 3 to a challenging 181-run total.
IND-W: 181/4 (20 overs)
What a start for the Indian team with the ball. Arundhati Reddy concedes just two runs off the first five balls before Sophia Dunkley is run out following a terrible mix-up with Danni Wyatt-Hodge. The other opener, perhaps guilt-ridden after Dunkley's dismissal, gifts her wicket with a chip to mid-off off the very next ball. England two down with next to nothing on the board.
ENG-W: 4/2 (2 overs)
The Indian team is well and truly in command against England. They have restricted the hosts to 32 runs in the powerplay while picking up three wickets, which piles on the pressure on the middle and lower order. The asking rate is nearing 11 and it won't be easy against India's spinners.
ENG-W: 32/3 (6 overs)
Just like India did in the middle overs, England are now getting their innings back on track slowly. A 59-run fourth-wicket partnership between Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones, which has smashed 28 runs off the last two overs, means the hosts are back in the game. India still have the upper hand, with a required run rate of 10.60 in the final 10 overs.
ENG-W: 76/3 (10 overs)
Tammy Beaumont gets to a well-deserved half-century but departs soon after, perishing to a run out. Amy Jones continues to find the boundaries from the other end, but Shree Charani gets rid of Alice Capsey and India are back in the driver's seat.
ENG-W: 109/5 (14.1 overs)
Sophie Ecclestone connects a couple nicely to bring some cheer for England, lower down the order. But the asking rate is now over 18 and with just four wickets in hand, one reckons it will take something far more extraordinary to snatch this match from India's grasp.
ENG-W: 127/6 (17 overs)
And that's that. Deepti Sharma delivers the final over and England are only able to score nine of the 34 runs they needed to win, ending up with their innings' third run-out. India pull off a second straight comfortable victory to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
ENG-W: 157/7 (20 overs)
Amanjot Kaur is deservedly named the Player of the Match for her unbeaten 40-ball 63, followed by figures of 1/28 in three overs. Here's what she had to say upon winning the honour:
"I am feeling quite overwhelmed, happy to contribute to this win. Injuries are part and parcel of the game, but I had no pressure on comeback, just doing what I love to do. I had time to plan things, I worked it out. Jemimah (Rodrigues), the way she played her innings, it was quite impressive. The bowlers bowled very well, 150 was par so we backed our bowlers and got it."
Half-centuries from Jemimah Rodrigues and Amanjot Kaur, followed by some disciplined bowling by spinners Shree Charani and Deepti Sharma, helped India register a convincing 24-run win over England. Chasing India's 182-run target, the hosts could only muster 157 as Harmanpreet Kaur's side took a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
