India secured a 41-run victory over Bangladesh in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2025, qualifying for the final with an important win. The match, played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, saw India post a competitive total of 168/6 in their 20 overs, anchored by Abhishek Sharma’s brilliant 75. He could've converted it into a century but was run-out due to a miscommunication with Suryakumar Yadav.

Bangladesh, chasing the target, struggled to build partnerships and lost wickets at regular intervals, allowing India to dominate key phases of the game. Jasprit struck in his very first over and the Bangla Tigers never recovered from that.

No batters except Saif Hassan could contribute anything to the scoreboard. He alone played a magnificent knock of 69 runs but never got the support from other end. Kuldeep Yadav was the star with the ball for India, picking up three wickets while conceding only 18 runs in his 4-over quota.
