Australia Women have won the toss and have opted to field. "We are gonna bowl. Love the way wicket came on under the lights. Couple of nice days off, everyone is in a really good place which we are really happy about. Always a few areas we can improve on, there is always little things we can tinker about and that is what this series is all about." Alysa Healy said.

"We are okay with that, we wanted to bat today. There are a few things we want to improve, about the matchups and when to take on the bowler and all those things, hopefullly we want to execute better today. We have made 2 changes today." Harmanpreet Kaur said

They have also became the first pair to aggregate 1000-plus partnership runs (for any wicket) in a calendar year in Women's ODIs. This is their 10th 50-plus stand in 13 outings in 2025, another record.

India are cruising at 64 without loss after 10 overs. Smriti (33) and Pratika (23) laid a solid foundation, keeping the scoreboard ticking and putting pressure on the Australian bowlers early in the innings.

India are 202/4 after 35 overs, and the momentum has slightly dipped since Smriti Mandhana’s dismissal. Deepti Sharma is steady at 16 off 26, playing a composed anchor’s role, while Richa Ghosh is yet to cut loose, sitting on 7 from 11 deliveries. Australia have tightened the screws with disciplined lines, not allowing easy boundaries. The next 10 overs will be crucial, India will need one of these two to accelerate and push the total beyond 280 to stay on top.

Darcie Brown deceives Radha Yadav with a slower one. Radha went for the slog across the line but missed completely. The ball struck her pad, and ball-tracking confirmed it was hitting the stumps. Out lbw!

Darcie Brown strikes again! A clever delivery, angled in on a length, kept slightly low and nipped back in sharply. Arundhati Reddy was late on the defense and completely beaten by the lack of bounce. The ball crashed into the stumps, sending her back clean bowled. That’s Brown’s second wicket, and India are now losing momentum with quick dismissals.

Darcie Brown to Deepti Sharma, out Caught by Sutherland!! Big breakthrough for Australia as Deepti departs. She looked to slog across the line but mistimed it completely, slicing it high. Sutherland at mid-on settled under the ball and took a safe catch. Deepti’s scratchy stay ends, and Brown picks up her third wicket, tightening Australia’s grip on this contest.

Schutt to Kranti Goud, out Kranti Goud Run Out!! Disaster for India as the ninth wicket falls. Kranti flayed it straight to cover and set off, but Sneh Rana quickly sent her back. The fielder released the throw in no time, and Kranti was well short of her ground. A needless run-out at this stage, and India’s chances of batting through the full 50 overs now look slim.

Kranti Goud to Healy, out Caught by Arundhati Reddy!! Big wicket for India! Healy tried to slog a fuller-length delivery angled in but only managed to clip it off the pads. The ball flew straight to deep backward square where Arundhati Reddy held on comfortably. A well-timed shot, but poorly placed, and Australia lose another key batter.

Australia are struggling to get momentum as both top-order batters are finding it tough. Ellyse Perry has 7 runs off 22 balls, while Beth Mooney is yet to open her account after 8 deliveries. The scoring rate is very slow, and India’s bowlers are applying excellent pressure, forcing dot balls and creating early breakthroughs. Australia will need to accelerate soon to avoid falling behind in the chase.

Sneh Rana to Mooney, 1 run – dropped! Beth Mooney gets a reprieve as she comes down the track and chips a gentle drive. Harleen Deol dives full at long-off but fails to hold on. Mooney survives on 8, giving Australia a second escape.

Radha Yadav follows up a dropped catch with a superb caught-and-bowled to send back the well-set Ellyse Perry for 44 in the 25th over. India strike at just the right moment to make the match more interesting. Annabel Sutherland has been joined by Ashleigh Gardner at the crease, and the asking rate is beyond 7.5 RPO now.

Kranti Goud to Wareham, OUT! Bowled!! Wareham misses a full, straight delivery at 101.2 kph, and the ball crashes into the off-stump. India secures a comprehensive victory, handing Australia their heaviest ODI defeat and leveling the series 1-1.
