It’s been a complete collapse from Bangladesh after the rain break, losing wickets in a heap and never recovering. From a decent position earlier, they’ve been bundled out for just 102 in this shortened contest. New Zealand will be absolutely thrilled with that turnaround.

What a turnaround from New Zealand, this has been a proper comeback. Bangladesh were looking stable at one point, eyeing a strong total, but the rain break completely flipped the script. Wickets started tumbling, and they’ve collapsed dramatically, losing their last six for just 26 runs.

The Kiwis were sharp in every department, tight lines with the ball, smart variations, and outstanding work in the field. Josh Clarkson stood out with a superb 3 for 9, breaking the backbone of the innings.

Shoriful Islam is on fire. He gets the big wicket of Tim Robinson with a beauty that crashes into the stumps, putting Bangladesh firmly on top. Just 1 run and a wicket in the over, and the pressure is massive now. Shoriful has 3 wickets already and even had a hat-trick chance, this chase has completely turned on its head!

Bangladesh tighten their grip. Mahedi Hasan strikes at the right moment, cleaning up Nick Kelly with one that skids in and crashes the stumps. 7 runs and a wicket from the over, but the Kiwis are slipping further in this chase. Jacobs remains on 7, but the pressure is mounting big time with wickets falling regularly.

This is a strong fightback. A 50-run partnership comes up in just 31 balls between Bevon Jacobs and Dean Foxcroft, shifting the momentum back. Jacobs is leading the charge with a fluent 44 off 25, including a big six in the over, while Foxcroft provides solid support. 14 runs off the over, and suddenly the chase is right back on track.
