Australia decimated Bangladesh by 10 wickets in Match No. 17 of the Women’s World Cup 2025 at ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Alyssa Healy scored a second consecutive hundred to help Australia chase down 199 in just 24.5 overs and book their tickets to semifinals.
Australia Women go to the top of the points table, having won four of their five matches (1 no result) so far. The defending champions also become the first team in the tournament to book their semifinal tickets.
Bangladesh Women have won the toss and have opted to bat first against Australia.

Middle order batter Shobana Mostary became the first Bangladeshi women to score a half-century against Australia and her 66 not out took her team to 198/9. Opener Rubya Haider also scored 44 while four Australian bowlers got two wickets each.
Alana King impressed the most with two wickets for only 18 runs in her 10 overs.
Australia's reply was completed by only the openers. Healy hit 113 not out off just 77 deliveries while getting good company from Phoebe Litchfield scored 84 from 72 balls, slamming the only six of the match.
