Nepal Prime Minister Prachanda Thanks Madhya Pradesh Leaders For Warm Hospitality During State Visit

Prachanda's visit included significant meetings, temple visits, and cultural exchanges, strengthening the bilateral ties between Nepal and Madhya Pradesh.

During his recent two-day visit to the state of Madhya Pradesh, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, popularly known as Prachanda, extended his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for their warm hospitality and generous reception.

Arriving at Indore airport on Friday morning, Prachanda and his delegation were warmly welcomed by Chief Minister Chouhan and his cabinet colleagues. The leaders shared a friendly moment over a plate of 'Indori poha,' a delightful sweet-sour snack, at the airport lounge, symbolizing the camaraderie between the two nations.

During his stay in Madhya Pradesh, Prachanda embarked on a series of significant visits. He paid respects at the renowned Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, explored the Special Economic Zone of IT giant TCS on Indore's Super Corridor, and visited 'Gobar-Dhan,' Asia's largest bio-CNG plant, located in the state's commercial capital.

As a gesture of goodwill, Chief Minister Chouhan presented Prachanda with a unique portrait crafted from discarded cloth pieces, symbolizing sustainable artistry and fostering a spirit of environmental consciousness.

Expressing his gratitude, Prachanda took to social media to share his thoughts on his journey. "I had the privilege of experiencing the beauty of Indore, India's cleanest city, along with visiting the Special Economic Zone and the revered Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain," he tweeted, acknowledging the warm welcome and cordial hospitality extended to him by the Governor and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. His statements were shared on both the PMO Nepal and Comrade Prachanda Twitter handles, underscoring the significance of the visit.

Prachanda's visit to India also included a crucial meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, where the two countries signed seven agreements and launched six projects, including the introduction of new railway services. The visit further reinforced the strong bilateral ties between Nepal and Madhya Pradesh, fostering mutual cooperation and friendship.
