In Photos: Oil Spill Pollutes UAE Coastline, Beaches Closed As Clean-Up Continues
An oil spill from the damaged tanker Gem No. 2 has affected the UAE coastline, with oil slicks reaching beaches near Umm Al Quwain and extending towards Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman and Sharjah. Authorities have contained the leak and are continuing coastal clean-up and environmental monitoring operations
