Clients today are not just evaluating vendors on creative capability, but on their ability to deliver speed, cost predictability, operational transparency, and execution accountability at scale.

What matters more is that, with the fast-paced change in workplace and commercial environments in the US, businesses are seeking reliable partners that can provide consistent results across different places, yet remain flexible enough to meet the demands of local markets. The United States isn't just a single-segment market for us, but rather a multi-asset one where the market demand for integrated performance centric design and build is growing every day. Our technology interventions standardise critical aspects of design, procurement, project management, and execution, enabling speed, predictability, and scalability across projects. This system-led approach has allowed us to seamlessly expand beyond workspaces into asset classes such as Retail, Hospitality, Education, F&B, Multi Use & Multi family while maintaining consistency in delivery and execution quality at scale.

At Flipspaces, our core belief is that innovation powered by technology can fundamentally transform an industry that has historically been fragmented, inefficient, and lacking visibility. We are building an AI layer, what we call mAIa, our AI powered virtual agent that can understand and track the project in real time, eliminating manual reporting by turning business data into real-time, actionable insights. We believe technology plays a critical role across space design, product selection, and project execution. So here is how Flipspaces is helping in the three stages:-

At the design stage, AI is beginning to augment human decision-making. Our visualisation tech, VIZWALK, envisions how the eventual space would look like even before it is built by enabling our clients to take a 360 degree virtual tour of the space. , . Doing so ensures that expectations are aligned, while also reducing uncertainties which may require costly revisions after work has already commenced. It shifts design from being intuition-led to increasingly experience-led.

Through our design tech platform named VIZDOM, we are embedding intelligence into workflows, helping teams optimize layouts, anticipate constraints, and aid timely client approvals while allowing changeable 3D visualisation and integrated product selection along the process.

At Flipspaces, we don’t look at design only from an aesthetic lens, but from a business and efficiency lens, almost like a CFO mindset focused on maximising space potential, improving utilisation, boosting employee productivity through design and optimising costs from day one. Our technology connects design directly with our global supply chain, procurement systems, and execution workflows. This means every layout, material selection, and design decision is linked to real-time product availability, costs, and fulfilment timelines through our internal tech, VIZDOM. As a result, clients get far greater budget accuracy, tighter control over timelines, and fewer surprises during execution.

Speed is another major outcome. Through platforms like VIZCLIENT, clients can access automated approval workflows, design repositories for inspiration, layout annotations, and real-time feedback systems, significantly reducing back-and-forth cycles that traditionally delay projects. What earlier took weeks of coordination can now move much faster with centralized visibility and structured workflows.

In general, the industry operated in a very disjointed manner with fragmented workflows, disconnected supply chains, limited execution visibility, and multiple uncoordinated stakeholders, often leading to delays, cost overruns, and inconsistent outcomes.

At Flipspaces, we built an integrated, technology-led platform that brings design, execution, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain management seamlessly under one ecosystem. Our approach combines technology, templatised workflows, and centralized project visibility to create greater speed, transparency, and predictability across the entire lifecycle of a project.

Q. As a Mumbai-headquartered company building for global markets, how are you scaling talent, leadership and delivery capabilities to support this growth?

Mumbai continues to serve as our headquarters, anchoring core corporate functions such as the founder’s office, finance, HR, and central departments. At the same time, our operating model is inherently global, with multi-functional teams spread across India, the United States, and the UAE to support clients more closely and execute with greater market responsiveness.

As part of this expansion, we have strengthened our presence with offices in New York, Dubai and Gurugram while continuing to invest in local talent acquisition across key markets. We have onboarded senior leadership talent across India, the US, and the UAE to accelerate growth across multiple real estate asset classes.

Our focus has been on building leadership density ahead of scale. This includes senior hires across Finance, Business Development, Offline Growth and Operations across our business verticals, namely Enterprise, SME, US, UAE. Alongside local hiring, we are also developing strong regional vendor and partner ecosystems in markets like the UAE and the US, which is critical for ensuring execution agility, speed, and consistency on-ground.

The US and UAE are strategic growth markets for us, driven by increasing demand for integrated, technology-led design-and-build solutions. By combining centralized strategic oversight with localized execution teams and vendor networks, we are able to maintain global quality benchmarks while adapting to regional market nuances.

Over the next 3–5 years, we believe technology will fundamentally transform how spaces are conceived, planned, and delivered. The industry is already moving away from design as a purely creative and iterative process toward one that is increasingly powered by intelligence, data and decision precision.

The next step is going to involve AI-enabled spatial planning, project cost estimations and decision intelligence, where decisions regarding design and layout are based on real-time inputs such as performance indicators and cost optimization, among others. This process is not only going to shorten project timelines but also increase reliability and scalability across various geographies.
