High School Moms And GIDE.AI Host Maiden Delegation Of 'Study Private, Study Georgia'

High School Moms and GIDE.AI proudly introduced the maiden delegation of the "Study Private, Study Georgia" initiative, a consortium of private liberal independent colleges and universities from Georgia, USA. Held in collaboration with the Georgia Independent College Association (GICA), this initiative aims to deepen educational ties between India and the United States while promoting the opportunities offered by Georgia’s private liberal institutions.

Key representatives for this delegation include A. Andrew Bressette, Vice President for Enrollment Management, and Dr. Lindsey Taylor, Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students from Berry College. Representing Brenau University are Dr. David L. Barnett, President, and Nathan R. Goss, Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment Management. Dr. Mark Roberts, President, and Dr. Kelley Roberts, Professor of Cybersecurity, are from Reinhardt University. Meaghan Blight, President of Wesleyan College, and Jenna Colvin, President of the Georgia Independent College Association (GICA), are also part of this distinguished group. These leaders are visiting India to connect with parents, students, and educators to help them better understand the know-how of Georgia’s education system.

In 2023-24, over 331,000 Indian students chose the USA as their destination for higher education. This immense interest highlights the potential of education as the next cornerstone in strengthening USA-India relations, fostering a deeper people-to-people connection.

Reinhardt University and Wesleyan College have already built strong ties in India through established connections with high schools and many Indian students currently pursuing their education on their campuses. Both institutions work closely with High School Moms, actively contributing to the community by creating meaningful learning engagements for high school students. They also collaborate closely with the school network, fostering educational opportunities and promoting academic growth. Known for their high-quality education, these institutions are committed to making the American dream more accessible by providing multiple scholarships to deserving students from India and South Asia.

The institutions in the Study Private, Study Georgia delegation are legacy institutions with a rich history and a global alum base. The delegation included senior educators and higher education experts from distinguished private colleges in Georgia such as Berry College (founded in 1902), Brenau University (founded in 1878), Reinhardt University (founded in 1883), Wesleyan College (founded in 1831), and Young Harris College (founded in 1886).

These colleges emphasise skill-building, research-driven education, and holistic development, offering students a comprehensive academic experience beyond rankings.
