Polling for the by-election in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency (Telangana) began at 7 a.m. on 11 November 2025.
About 4.01 lakh voters are eligible to vote across 407 polling stations; 226 of these have been flagged as “critical” with heightened security and drone surveillance in place.
The by-election was triggered by the death of sitting MLA Maganti Gopinath (BRS) and features a triangular fight between the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP); counting of votes is scheduled for 14 November.
