MNS leader Dinkar Patil on Nov 10, 2025, announced alliance with Maha Vikas Aghadi (Shiv Sena UBT, NCP SP, Congress) for all forthcoming polls in Nashik, including local body elections, to "keep democracy alive."
Alliance formed over voter list irregularities, farmer distress from crop losses due to rains, corruption, and casteism; CPI(M) leader DL Karad said it aims to reduce Mahayuti's influence.
Patil stated Raj Thackeray will take the ultimate call; Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant denied any decision, while Sharad Pawar urged Congress not to oppose MNS inclusion.
