Davos has been placed under unprecedented security with over 5,000 personnel, snipers, AI-enabled drones and strict airspace controls for the World Economic Forum.
More than 400 political leaders, including at least 64 heads of state or government, along with over 1,000 CEOs and global figures, are attending the five-day meeting.
Swiss authorities have authorised limited protests under strict conditions, with additional security costs estimated at around CHF 9 million.
