A new term will soon begin and so will ragging. There seem no solutions in sight.
- Encourage reporting of ragging, set up helplines and anonymous drop boxes
- Have a therapist on campus; encourage mentoring by seniors
- Strengthen campus security, focus on ragging-prone areas, and have a monitoring system for hostel wardens
- Taking note of all instances of ragging; corrective, decisive and immediate action is a must
