- Major oil psus like IOC and HPCL are currently experimenting with it in Mumbai and Haryana
- Daimler Chrysler has tested this fuel with its C-Class Mercedes Benz over 6,000 km across India
- It reduces unburnt hydrocarbons and produces less particulate matter
- But it can increase maintenance costs. Procurement, transportation, storage and extraction costs can be high too.
