Summary
Netflix on Thursday unveiled the much-awaited trailer for Stranger Things Season 5, and with this, the countdown for the finale chapter has begun. It will once again take us back to the Upside Down, where the lights will flicker once again in Hawkins, with memories coming back and shadows crawling.
The almost 3-minute trailer starts with a monster walking into the cave saying, "At long last, we can begin." It then takes us to the city, with Finn Wolfhard's Mike saying, "We're really starting to lose it...being stuck in here." The team is set for a mission to find Vecna, who has returned to Hawkins, as Mike says, "Maybe tonight is our break...we find Vecna...and we end this one and for all...together."
Millie Bobby Brown and the Hawkins crew are ready for the battle against the deadliest monsters who are all over the city. They will also have a showdown with Vecna in the finale chapter.

Ross Duffer, co-creator, executive producer, writer, and director of the show, shared, “I think what's unique about this season is that it starts a little bit in chaos because our heroes ultimately lost at the end of Season 4. We usually set up their normal life and how they’re going about school, and then we introduce the supernatural element. But in this case, this season is sprinting from the start.”
Matt Duffer added, “They’re not experiencing normal life. Nothing in Hawkins is normal any more; their movement is restricted, and there are Big Brother cameras everywhere. So not only are they active — their everyday, normal lives are anything but.”

Stranger Things Season 5's Vol. 1 will premiere on November 26, 2025 and Vol. 2 on Christmas.
