He has no dearth of fans in Andhra Pradesh, and they celebrated the release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu as they rallied on the roads and outside theatres. Videos have gone viral on social media, where fans can be seen cheering, wearing shirts with Pawan Kalyan's photo imprint and rejoicing his return by dancing outside theatres and chanting slogans.

Set in the 17th century, Hari Hara Veera Mallu revolves around fictional legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, who revolts against the Mughal army and empire.
Directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna, the film was released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
It also starred Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Nargis Fakhri, among others in pivotal roles. Academy Award and Golden Globe winner MM Keeravani, has composed the music of the film.
