After walking the blue carpet of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art in true SRK style, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shared his first post on Instagram. He penned an appreciation note for designer Sabyasachi and his team for introducing him to the Met Gala.

Shah Rukh Khan penned an appreciation note for designer Sabyasachi for introducing him to the Met Gala.
In the post, the actor said that Met Gala is not his 'space', and thanked everyone for making him feel like a King.
The Jawan star shared a couple of pics of himself from the Met Gala photoshoot and wrote, "Thx @sabyasachiofficial & ur whole team for introducing me to the Met Gala. It's not my ‘space' but u made me feel so comfortable…becos u, like me, believe…Style & Fashion…is just being who you are. And all of u made me feel like a ‘K'! (sic)".

Shah Rukh Khan made 'King-size' debut at 2025 Met Gala. Keeping in mind this year’s dress Met Gala code, ‘Tailored For You', and theme, 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style', Sabyasachi's custom-made outfit for Khan was a nod to Black and Indian dandyism.
He donned a floor-sweeping black trench coat which he wore over an unbuttoned black crepe de Chine silk shirt, paired with wool trousers. A pleated satin kamarbandh enhanced the ensemble.
To complete the look, Shah Rukh wore chunky jewellery, which included diamond-studded pendants, along with several rings. His "K" necklace was one of the major highlights. The King Khan also carried a Bengal Tiger Head Cane as a style statement.
The 59-year-old actor scripted history by becoming the first Indian male actor to grace the prestigious Met Gala event.
Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming films
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in King, which also stars his daughter Suhana Khan. He is also said to be in Pathaan 2. There are also reports of him collaborating with Pushpa director Sukumar, for an upcoming project.
