Salman Khan was mobbed by a large crowd during a public appearance in Mumbai, even as concerns around his safety continue due to reported death threats. The incident took place at the President Cup 2026 event held at Dadoji Konddev Stadium in Thane, where several videos from the venue have now surfaced online.

In the clips circulating on social media, the actor is seen struggling to move through a tightly packed crowd of fans. Despite the presence of security personnel, crowd control became difficult as people gathered around him to take photos and get closer.

Chaos despite security presence

According to visuals shared online, Salman Khan arrived with a security convoy and maintained a calm demeanour throughout the situation. However, as he exited the stage area, he was surrounded by fans, with security personnel seen attempting to push people back to create space.

Even during his departure, when he left in a convoy of police vehicles, fans were seen approaching his car, with some leaning in to capture photographs. The situation has led to widespread concern online.

It was noted by social media users that “security seemed inadequate despite ongoing threats”, while it was also said that “the situation looked risky for both the actor and the crowd”. Concerns were further raised as it was observed that “such crowd surges could lead to injuries”.

Salman Khan’s security has remained under scrutiny in recent months due to multiple threats reportedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
