Here's the day-wise collections of Metro...In Dino

Day 1- Rs 3.5 crore

Metro... In Dino had an overall 39.91% Hindi occupancy on Sunday. Evening shows witnessed 57.14% occupancy, while morning shows had the lowest occupancy of 15.98%, afternoon shows saw 46.62% of the audience, and night shows saw 39.27% footfall.

It had already surpassed the box office collections of Life... In A Metro. The word of mouth has helped Anurag Basu's film in its earnings. Now, we have to see how it stay afloat this week as there are two releases - Rajkummar Rao's Maalik and Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor's Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.

An excerpt from the Outlook India review of Metro…In Dino read: "In Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino, all the uncertainties and vicissitudes of modern-day relationships collide. Across the age-bracket, romance blooms as a sudden guest, withers away and eventually recoups its initial promise. Basu hurtles you through the many, entangling dilemmas of a relationship, the bumps in its wide span. It’s messy, frequently hurtful, ridden with icy breaks and a lot of doubt. But eventually, Basu’s vision of contemporary romance retains a warm, reassuring optimism. What you need is a gradual realignment of wavelengths that are mutually agreeable, affirmed."
