Jonathan Majors Convicted Of Assault: All You Need To Know About Meagan Good - The Woman Who Stood By The 'Marvel' Actor

Throughout the assault trial of actor Jonathan Majors, there was a woman standing by him at all times. So, who is she?

Actor Jonathan Majors has been convicted of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The trial began in November and the verdict was announced on December 19. The jury found the 'Marvel' actor guilty of violence against Jabbari in New York earlier this year.

Throughout the trial, Majors was supported by his now-girlfriend, Meagan Good, who seemed like a pillar of strength for the actor during this period. She was evidently extremely emotional when the actor was declared guilty. Good stood by Majors' side during his court appearances, putting up a strong front as a couple.

But, who is Good?

Meagan Monique Good is an American model and actress. She began her career as a TV extra on shows like 'MD,' 'Amen,' and 'Doogie Howser.' At a young age of 13, she bagged her first role in the comedy 'Friday' (1995), but gained public recognition from the film 'Eve’s Bayou' (1997).

Before landing the role of Nina in the Nickelodeon sitcom 'Cousin Skeeter,' Good became even more well-known for her performances in movies like 'Deliver Us From Eva,' 'Roll Bounce,' and 'Stomp the Yard.' Her character of Joanna Locasto in 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' (2012) further escalated her fame.

Apart from shows and films, Good has appeared in many music videos for artists such as Tyrese, 50 Cent, Memphis Bleek, Imajin, Isyss, and Lil Johnny.

Coming to her relationship with Majors, after their date at the Alamo Drafthouse in May, PEOPLE confirmed that the couple were indeed dating. She has been accompanying Majors to his court hearings as well. As they entered and left the courtroom back in June, they were pictured holding hands. Good made her second appearance with the actor in August, where they were seen holding hands outside the Manhattan Criminal Court once more.

The couple made their first public appearance as a couple in September at the 8th annual Black and White Gala of the Congressional Black Caucus, which Good co-hosted with Larenz Tate in Washington DC.

Throughout the trial proceedings, Good consistently appeared in support of Majors. "Jonathan's challenging period has further solidified their relationship," a trusted source told PEOPLE. "Meagan's courage and resilience have been an unwavering source of support for him.”
