Is One Of The Stories In ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ Is Inspired By Carry Minati?

There are reports all over stating that one of the storylines in Dibakar Banerjee’s upcoming sequel to ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ is based around Carry Minati and his tryst with YouTube after his video ‘YouTube Vs TikTok – The End’ became an overnight global sensation.

The announcement of Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ on ‘Bigg Boss 16’ undoubtedly left the audience in an absolute surprise as she was seen opening various unknown facts about the film. As the audience got to know that one story is based on the format of ‘Bigg Boss’, the other is said to be inspired by a gamer. Having left the audience in a jungle of thoughts about this gamer, a speculative statement from the movie’s team says that another story in ‘LSD 2’ could be based around Carry Minati.

If some director knows how to keep the audience excited on the edge to build anticipation for a film, then Dibakar Banerjee is truly the best player at it. His ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ introduced some amazing stories which were way ahead of their time, we can see with ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ he is aiming to go even bigger.

For the unversed, the internet sensation, Ajay Nagar, is profoundly famous as Carry Minati, his virtual name. He gained massive popularity, especially when his roast video titled ‘YouTube Vs TikTok’ - The End’ caused controversy on YouTube India. The video was widely seen by the audience but was removed by YouTube for violations against the platform's terms of service, citing reasons such as cyberbullying and harassment. This is something that probably gives a thought of a reason why Dibakar Banerjee and Ekta Kapoor may have choosen to pick up his story in the film.

Moreover, the film has been in talks much before it went on the floors and if it's going to be based on the life of Carry Minati then it would be interesting to see who plays his role on the screen. Would it be Carry Minati himself, considering he already made his filmy debut with Ajay Devgn’s directorial ‘Runway 34’?

For now, only time will tell as National Film Award-winning director Dibakar Banerjee teams up with producer Ekta Kapoor yet again in an attempt to take the legacy of breakthrough cinema ahead with the sequel to ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’.
