Hollywood stars Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller are all set to star in James Gray's next feature film, Paper Tiger, reported Deadline. The film also stars Adam Driver and marks Johansson and Driver's reunion after 2019’s Marriage Story, for which they bagged Oscar nominations.

Johansson and Teller have replaced Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Strong, who had to exit the project due to other commitments.

Gray is writing and directing the film and the production is said to start next month in New Jersey.

Paper Tiger will be produced by Rodrigo Teixeira and Anthony Katagas under their banners RT Features and AK Productions alongside Raffaella Leone, Gary Farkas, Marco Perego, Carlo Salem, and Andrea Bucko. Executive producers include Lee Broda, Jeff Rice, Riccardo Maddalosso and Emily Salveson.

The film is described as “tense and gritty” story, following two brothers trying to achieve the American dream, only to get “entangled in a scheme that turns out to be too good to be true.”

The synopsis reads: “As they try to navigate their way through an ever-more dangerous world of corruption and violence, they find themselves and their family brutally terrorized by the Russian ‘Mafiya.’ Their bond begins to fray, and betrayal — once utterly unthinkable — now becomes all too possible.”

Sales for Paper Tiger will continue at the Cannes market. Vincent Maraval and Kim Fox’s The Veterans is representing the international sales rights and CAA Media Finance is looking after North American rights.
