Did You Know Shehnaaz Gill Blocked Salman Khan’s Number When He Called To Offer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’?

During her appearance on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, Shehnaaz Gill revealed how she unknowingly blocked Salman Khan’s number once.

Shehnaaz Gill shares a warm bond with Salman Khan ever since she featured on ‘Bigg Boss 13’. So it did not come as a surprise when she became a part of ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. But did you know that Shehnaaz blocked his number when the actor called her for the part?

Well, the cast and crew of the film recently shot for an episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, and during that, Shehnaaz revealed that she was in Amritsar, when she received calls from an unknown number. So she ended up blocking the number, only to be later informed that it was Salman Khan’s call.

Sharing details about it, Shehnaaz said,  “I was in Amritsar visiting the Gurudwara when I received a call from an unknown number. And I have this habit of blocking unknown numbers, so I did the same. Then after a few minutes, I got a message that Salman sir is trying to call me. Just to verify, I put the number on the Truecaller app and found out that it was actually Salman Khan calling me! I immediately unblocked him and called him back; it was then that he offered me the film and that’s how I got the film.”

Meanwhile, at the trailer launch, Shehnaaz thanked Salman Khan for trusting her with the film. “When I went to shoot for my first music video, I was rejected. I was told, ‘Ye kaunsi bachchi leke aaye hai, we don’t want to shoot with her. Take her back.’ I came back and cried a lot at home, that I’ve been rejected. My mom told me why am I crying, one day I would be in a Salman Khan film. Sir gave me a chance and proved that mom’s words always come true,” she said.

Joining Salman and Shehnaaz on the sets of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ were Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Vinali Bhatnagar, and Sukhbir. ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ will release in cinema halls on April 21.
