Billie Eilish Announces 'Special' Collaboration With James Cameron: It's Going To Be In 3D

Grammy-winning singer Billie Eilish is collaborating with Oscar-winning director James Cameron for an upcoming project. Eilish teased her new project with Cameron, during her Manchester concert on Saturday, July 19. The singer revealed she is working on a 3D collaboration with the Titanic director.

"So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here," Eilish told the crowd, and added, "Basically, I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron."

When the crowd cheered and the concert was filled with applause, the Birds of a Feather singer said, "And it's going to be in 3D."

"Take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row," she jokingly said to the audience.

Eilish didn't reveal much about the project. We are not sure whether the upcoming project is a film or a concert.

Eilish released her documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, in 2021. It was directed by R.J. Cutler. Her concert movie, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, was also released in 2021. The 23-year-old is currently on her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour.

Talking about Cameron, he has most recently produced Secrets of the Octopus for National Geographic. The filmmaker is currently waiting for the release of his highly anticipated film, Avatar: Fire and Ash, which is all set to hit theatres on December 19, 2025, with a fourth instalment slated to release in 2029.
