‘Merry Christmas’ Trailer: Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi’s Hindi And Tamil Versions Of The Same Fateful Night Has The Sriram Raghavan Feel

After a long wait, ‘Merry Christmas’ is finally set to hit theatres on January 12. Starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, the film has been directed by Sriram Raghavan and has the feels of his previous hits like ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Andha Dhun’.

It’s almost Merry Christmas for everyone out there, but for the fans of ‘Merry Christmas’, the movie, the wait is going to be for a couple of weeks more. Despite the film being based on an eventful night of Christmas, the makers have decided to push the film to January 12 as the Christmas weekend is already too crowded with the releases of ‘Salaar Part 1’, ‘Dunki’ and ‘Aquaman 2’. The three films have already blocked the theatres and each is complaining that the other has taken up more screens in India and across the world. Who will end up as a winner at the box-office? Only time will tell.

Coming to ‘Merry Christmas’, it stars Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, and the film has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil. Besides these two leads, the rest of the supporting cast is different for both films. Only Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar have important cameo appearances in both versions of the film.

Check out the two trailers of ‘Merry Christmas’ right here:

The Hindi version of ‘Merry Christmas’ has Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand. The Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kavin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film seems to have the thrilling effect of his previous films like ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Andha Dhun’.

In the meanwhile, the makers have decided to release some promotional songs from the film in the coming days, which would keep the audiences prepped up for the release. The makers are promising that the film’s release in January will be filled with thrills and chills.

‘Merry Christmas’ has been produced by Ramesh Taurani, Sanjay Routray, Jaya Taurani and Kewal Garg.
