‘Koffee With Karan 8’ Promo: Mother-Son Duo, Sharmila Tagore And Saif Ali Khan, Are All Set For A Royal Brew

In the upcoming episode of ‘Koffee With Karan 8’, Sharmila Tagore And Saif Ali Khan will join Karan Johar on his show.

Ever since Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ returned with its eighth season, Karan Johar has hosted several celebs of the Indian film industry on his couch. Some of them include Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty.

Now going by the latest promo of ‘KWK 8’, mother-son duo, Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan, are the latest guests on the show. In the promo, Karan introduces the veteran actress as ‘Sapnon Ki Rani’, and her son, Saif, as the ‘nawab’. While Sharmila looks graceful in a black floral sari, Saif looks dapper as always in a black suit. 

When Karan, asking a question, tells Saif that “you look bewildered,” he jokingly reacts,  “As I often am on this couch.” When Sharmila Tagore is asked a story from Saif’s college days, she reveals, “He didn’t go to university. He asked the air hostess out, and they went somewhere.” Saif ends up getting embarrassed and says, “These dalliances are exaggerated.”

Karan further questions Saif about what qualities Kareena has rubbed off on him, and Saif gets visibly embarrassed. He reacts with, “Rubbed what?” To which, Karan clarifies that it wasn’t a vulgar question.

Meanwhile, it was not long ago that Sharmila celebrated her 79th birthday with Saif and the entire family. In the pictures, Sharmila, Taimur, Soha, and Kareena were joined by Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Saba Ali Khan, Inaaya Kemmu and Kunal Kemmu, also marked their presence. 

On the work front, Sharmila Tagore was last seen in ‘Gulmohar’, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in March this year. Helmed by Rahul Chittella, the film also starred Manoj Bajpayee, Simran, and Suraj Sharma.
