The Young Game Changers of Indian Realty 2025 event at The LaLiT, New Delhi, brought together dynamic leaders shaping the future of Indian real estate. Through four high-impact panel discussions and keynote addresses, the forum explored how innovation, sustainability, and technology are transforming the sector.

The opening panel examined how new-age entrepreneurs are redefining business models with sustainability and technology at the core. Speakers called for real-time integration of government approvals with the RERA platform to enhance efficiency. “Currently, more than 20–25 approvals are required for a project, but there’s a delay between approval and visibility on RERA,” noted Venket Rao, RERA expert. The panel proposed near real-time data integration to ensure transparency.

Adding to the discussion, Samir Jasuja, founder and CEO, PropEquity, emphasised the role of structured data in enabling informed decisions, attracting investment, and promoting institutionalisation. Panelists also advocated integrating litigation details onto RERA to build trust. Moderator Namrata Kohli concluded, “The future belongs to those who combine goodness with business, and profit with purpose.”

The second panel focused on emerging asset classes such as co-living and flexible work environments, fuelled by evolving lifestyles and hybrid work models. “Nearly 55–60% of young migrants seek flexibility, affordability, tech-enablement, and community — all of which co-living offers,” observed Dr. Samantak Das, chief economist, JLL.

The conversation also explored how luxury housing now embraces wellness, sustainability, and smart design. Shalin Raina, MD – residential services, Cushman & Wakefield, emphasised rising price appreciation, investor interest, and NRI participation. “Luxury today is about wellbeing and personalisation,” he said.

The third session highlighted integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles as a strategic advantage. Sustainability expert Dr. Priyanka Kochhar explained that while green buildings may need 5–8% higher upfront costs, the payback comes within 3–4 years through savings in energy, water, and maintenance.

The final panel explored how AI, analytics, automation, and digital tools are enhancing efficiency, personalising experiences, and enabling transparent transactions.

The event concluded with keynote insights from Anand Kumar, chairman, Delhi RERA, followed by a felicitation ceremony honouring industry leaders and rising change-makers. The collective message resonated strongly — the next decade of Indian real estate will be driven by innovation, sustainability, transparency, and purpose-led leadership.
