Do you see the central government making a law banning cow slaughter?

Atal Bihari Vajpayee is himself a gau bhakt (cow-worshipper), and he has said that the government will introduce a bill. We can't hope for a better situation.

According to you, is cow slaughter and beef export on a rise in the country?

It's a fact that some smugglers are involved in this heinous task with the help of veterinarians in some states.

What is the reason behind Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijay Singh raising the cow issue?

Digvijay Singh has always been a gau bhakt, in fact he drinks cow urine. I have informed him that we want to meet Sonia and ask for his party's support. Since the elections are near, he had to raise the issue.

Every year beef exports earn Rs. 1500 crore for the country. Once it is banned, how will this loss be covered?

Beef exports are banned in the country. Only smuggling goes on. As for the losses, the sales of cow urine, gobar(cow dung) and other cow related medicinal products could be much more profitable.

Where are these medicinal products and cow urine available?

Various tablets and medicines made out of cow urine are available at more than 200 Goshalas across the country. The cow urine from the country's largest Goshala at Devlapar (near Nagpur) is patented in the U.S. Medicines are available at Adarsh Goshala in Akola and the VHP office at R.K. Puram. Cow urine and medicines are also available at various Goshalas in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh andHaryana.
